    good man, he did so many things?

  34. I expected the number 1 spot, considering how, in 95% of video game lists,
    Final Fantasy always ends up being #5 or higher…

    I will never understand its popularity, nor will I ever understand why that
    death is so “tragic”… Seriously, a sword goes right through her and
    there’s no blood?! It’s the worst death ever! From the most overrated
    franchise ever!?

    my dad died in 2011 and I just was like looking at my dad dying in my hands

    discovered the death before actually playing it.?

  39. I don’t think the Auditore family and Sarah should’ve been on here. An
    honorable mention? Yes. But they died too early in their games to grow an
    emotional attachment to them.?

  40. I cried like a baby when my character in Pokemon dungeons died. I was 8
    years old. I had no idea that Pokemon could die. I cried even more when my
    character came back to life.?

  43. Why the hell would you have Aerith higher than Lee bloody Everett?
    I personally think that her death is way overrated. I’ve seen clips of it,
    over and over, with people calling it ‘tragic’ and ‘shocking’. How!?
    I feel nothing for her. In fact, in hindsight, I’ve come to laugh at the
    scene whenever I see it, because I find it funny that anyone could be
    emotionally invested in a girl who completely blends in to every other FF
    character.
    At least I felt sad when Lee died. Or Duck! DUCK got me to feel more sad
    that Aerith.?

  44. I don’t understand why people got so sad about Sarah from Last of Us. Yes
    she was Joel’s daughter, but we hardly got any time to know her or connect
    with her. And most obviously Sarah wasn’t Ellie who appeared on the cover
    and was part of all the advertising. The first thought when I saw Sarah
    instead of Ellie with Joel was, yep she is going to die soon. It was pretty
    obvious to me. And it should have been pretty obvious to everyone. ?

  45. I understand that Aeris was shocking and historic and yadda yadda, but holy
    crap. Lee Everett. It takes something crazy emotional for me to get
    watery-eyed, and that entire last scene in the jewelry store had me
    sniffling like a baby.?

  47. People’s reactions to number 4 and 2 annoy me because they only find them
    so sad because they involve little girls in some way or another. Show me a
    game that can be just as sad without involving little girls or children in
    general and I will be ecstatic.?

    with a wounded leg.?
