An animation I wrote, storyboarded and directed. This is also posted elsewhere but I’m the originator of the work.

Toyota haven’t sold any cars with the 2ZZ engine for at least 5 years. The
performance of the latest Prius far out performs the old Celica’s (no
really it does) If you want something interesting from Toyota, and you cant
handle the power of the hybrid check out the GT86 – a worth successor to
    the Celica

Just a heads up the Celica has this and would have been a much more
    interesting model. Fantastic explanation though

Last time I checked Toyota Themselves announced their flagship engine (the
most interesting) was and still is the 2ZZ in the celica. The prius engine
is a 1.5L with an electric engine beside it and since everyone is doing it
it’s not as interesting as the electrical and mechanical parts of the celica

Prius is far more interesting than Celica 😉
