Legends Adventure Farm and the organizers of the popular Pretoria Festival, as well as their sponsors AC/DC Express Silverlakes and Piggy Back Rentals and Repairs, cordially invite the public to Kersliggies Oppi-Plaas, a wonderland of Christmas lights.
The venue has ensured that load shedding can not put a dampener on the festivities. So do not sit home in the dark. Rather come and spend your load shedding hours with us.
Kersliggies Oppi-Plaas takes place every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 24 November 2022 to 17 December 2022 on the grounds of Legends Adventure Farm, located on the R515 road just east of Pretoria.
Visitors who visited Kersliggies Oppi-Plaas this past weekend described it as beautiful, spectacular, breathtaking and as something you have to see and experience.
Little Marlie Bester had such an incredible time at Kersliggies Oppi-Plaas. Not only did she marvel at all the beautiful lights, but she rode a pony, took pictures with Father Christmas and also mailed a note to the North Pole. The family traveled all the way from Hartbeespoort Dam to see they lights. They can’t wait to visit again.
Christmas lights Oppi-Plaas just have a different atmosphere to other light festivals. The dam covered with lights is something unique to our light festival. The whole journey, from your car, to the stage and back to the entrance, takes you on an adventure where you move from one beautiful feature to the next.
When you get to the restaurant and all the stalls, the conviviality reminds you of family time on Grandpa and Grandma’s stoep. The children are free to play and marvel at all the sounds, colours and scents around them, while mum and dad can sit back and relax.
Near the stage you will also find some carefully curated stalls with cute gift ideas, food stalls and even games for the children. Most of the stalls have also made a special discount voucher available which you can only get at www.feesgids.kersliggies.co.za. So just register today on the festival guide, to get those discount vouchers.
According to Bartus Oosthuizen, their manager, ACDC Express Silverlakes is particularly proud and privileged to be part of Kersliggies Oppi-Plaas. AC/DC is also exhibiting at the event and has several candle lights for sale and also offers numerous solutions for load shedding during the Christmas season. Feel free to chat with their friendly team and keep your spirits up this Christmas season.

This is the second year that Christmas lights support Oppi-Plaas Helnet. Last year, Kersliggies Oppi-Plaas raised around R15 000 for Helpnet and we aim to double this this year.
On 1 December, Helpnet opens a second house of safety. The funds collected by Kersliggies Oppi-Plaas will be used to further fund this second home. For more information about the project, please contact jolandaj@helpnet.org.za
The gates open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 18:00.
