Check out this Camps Bay Beach image:
Hannah and the Blustery Day

There is wind, and then there is wind, and this photo does not fully convey the strength of the south-easter that was howling round my head as I took this yesterday evening. We’ve been waiting for a good evening to go up Table Mountain – yesterday, we were doomed by wind, so we thought, well, let’s go take some shots of the Twelve Apostles, that’ll be nice. AHAHAHA.
I nearly took off and had a little unwinged flight above the Atlantic Ocean – and I am no featherweight (this whole weight-losing thing is clearly dangerous for a photographer). I fought my way down to the rocks at the end of Camps Bay, and had to curl up in a little ball to take this. Any more gusts and I would have had to lie flat. As it was I had to wait for a slight lull before I could safely stand up and run back up to the car without being slammed on my face on granite rocks. I think I still have sand in my ears. I certainly had plenty of it in my eyes, even with sunglasses and a camera in the way. Also, everything is a little blurry as I could barely hold the camera still.
