NBCC in association with Enbridge and Stewart McKelvey proudly presents the third "Gelu'lg Maw-A-Paw – a Celebration of Indigenous Culture'. The event name, Gelu'lg Maw-a-paw means "awesome gathering" in the Mi'kmaq (Gelu'lg) and Wolastoqiyik (Maw-a-paw) languages. The theme for this year's event, featuring Stories & Songs shared by Samaqani Cocahq & Friends, is We are Wabanaki. Proceeds from the event will support the Indigenous Student Bursary Fund established by NBCC through the NBCC Foundation. For many students, a bursary makes the difference between a dream pursued or a dream deferred.
