The organisers of South Africa’s largest Women’s Day Celebration, the Totalsports Women’s Race, are excited to welcome Garmin as the official watch of the 2022 event that will take place across three cities on National Women’s Day (Tuesday 09 August 2022).
“We’re excited to welcome Garmin as the official watch of the Totalsports Women’s Race in 2022,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports. “Garmin is a reliable training partner. Built by runners for runners, the Garmin Forerunner range is a fantastic range for all runners. Whether you’re an elite, chasing a PB or a newcomer to the sport, Garmin is guaranteed to help you achieve your goal. Be sure to monitor our social media platforms where x3 Garmin watches will be up for grabs just in time for race day. To add to the excitement, we will also be giving away one watch per city (Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban) on event day. Come run with us on Tuesday 09 August 2022 as we paint the streets of Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban pink in celebration of National Women’s Day and in support of PinkDrive.”
“We are proud to be the official watch of the Totalsports Women’s Race,” says Angelique Crew, Marketing Manager of Garmin Sub-Saharan Africa. “The partnership grants Garmin the opportunity to give back to the female running community, while supporting women of South Africa on the day that it matters the most. With Garmin on your wrist, you’ll continue to #beatyesterday every day! We look forward to creating a lasting relationship with the Totalsports Women’s Race to ensure that we continue to support female runners in South Africa.”
