Fundraising Dinner – Cambodia’s First Women’s Hospital – a Sport interest event taking place on 2019-06-01 18:30:00 in Australia
Help us raise funds for the opening of Nokor Tep Hospital – the very first hospital dedicated to Women's Health in Cambodia. The Nokor Tep Women’s Hospital has a clear and comprehensive vision. Currently, less than 7% of the rural population has access to medical care. It is also very clear that 90% of the women in Cambodia suffer from long term gynecological infections of various kinds. Our vision is to have a women’s hospital that is focused on gynecological issues and women’s cancers thereby alleviating the silent suffering of the vast majority of women in Cambodia. The hospital, which has been built to date by donations only, is a non for profit based in the region of Phnom Penh. The Dufroux Family has been working with the founders of the Nokor Tep Hospital for the last 4 years to bring the vision of this hospital to life. Our involvement is to purchase the cleaning equipment & chemicals for the ongoing maintenance and hygiene of the hospital; whilst also providing quarterly onsite training to the employees and volunteers of Nokor Tep. In 2018, we hosted our first fundraising event where we raised close to ,000. We are excited to have you join us for another year of fun, laughs and good food to show our support for this great cause. +THE EVENING+ MENU A buffet of hot and cold gastronomic delicacies , cooked by French Chef Pascal Dufroux. Vegan & Gluten Free options will be available (please advise of any special dietary requirements). BEVERAGES You will be able to purchase drinks from the Community Sports Bar. ENTERTAINMENT We will have a surprise guest speaker along with some entertainment on the evening (it's a surprise – we can't give everything away!). RAFFLES We will be running several raffle drawers on the evening with some epic prizes, so be sure to bring along your wallet full of cash!! Your generous donations will aid in purchasing all the goods to ensure the hospital remains hygienic with well trained staff in place all year around. Thank you SO MUCH for your support; this means so much to us. See you on 1st June!
