Edenvale – Getting the right materials for a drywall or ceiling project is only part of the challenge. For builders, contractors, homeowners and DIY customers, knowing exactly what products and quantities are required can be just as important. Fundi Interior Systems is combining product supply with practical industry expertise to help customers approach projects with greater confidence.
Based in Edenvale, Gauteng, Fundi Interior Systems is a family-owned supplier of drywall and ceiling systems, serving both trade customers and the general public. Founded in 2015, the business has grown from its beginnings at a dining room table into a fully stocked warehouse supplying customers across Johannesburg, the East Rand, Pretoria and surrounding areas.
The company stocks a broad range of products required for complete drywall and ceiling installations, including gypsum boards, steel studs and tracks, ceiling grid systems, ceiling tiles, insulation, plaster, doors, aluminium and associated accessories. Its supplier network also allows the team to source specialist products and unusual sizes when an item is not immediately available from its warehouse.
A key part of Fundi Interior Systems’ approach is helping customers understand what they actually need before purchasing. Customers can bring their plans or measurements to the business for a free material take-off, with the team calculating requirements such as boards, studs, screws and plaster. This service is designed to reduce guesswork and help customers avoid unnecessary over-ordering or shortages during a project.
The company also provides technical advice based on decades of combined industry experience. Customers can receive guidance on selecting appropriate boards, framing systems, insulation and other components according to the requirements of their project.
Beyond product supply, Fundi Interior Systems offers services designed around the practical demands of construction and installation work. Aluminium extrusions, glazing sections and doorframes can be cut to specific measurements in-store on the same day, while after-hours deliveries can be arranged for projects where normal trading hours create logistical challenges, including shopping-centre and commercial sites.
Fundi Interior Systems’ warehouse in Eden Glen is positioned to supply projects across Gauteng, with regular service to Johannesburg, the East Rand, Kempton Park, Pretoria and surrounding areas. The business welcomes everyone from professional contractors and developers to homeowners undertaking smaller renovation or DIY projects.
By combining a broad product range with technical knowledge, material calculations, cutting services and flexible delivery options, Fundi Interior Systems aims to make the process of sourcing drywall and ceiling materials more straightforward from the initial planning stage through to project completion.
