FS8 Announces Lanuch of Master Franchise in South Africa

  • Pilates. Tone. Yoga. A new era of boutique fitness arrives on South African shores.
  • Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Growth

Johannesburg, South Africa – FS8 (Pilates, Tone &Yoga), the latest boutique movement fitness concept launched under the FIT / F45 Brands umbrella, today announces the appointment of FS8 Training South Africa Pty Ltd as its Master Franchise Partner in South Africa. This agreement grants the local partner exclusive rights to develop, recruit and support FS8 studios across South Africa, bringing a new paradigm of low-impact, high-energy movement to the region.

The new Master Franchise Agreement grants FS8 Training South Africa Pty Ltd exclusive rights and responsibilities to recruit, support, train and oversee FS8 studios across South Africa. Leveraging deep regional know-how, the master franchise team will spearhead studio development, operations support, marketing and member experience excellence across key urban and suburban markets nationwide.

In the words of Karen Loader, CEO of Functional Fitness South Africa and Master Franchisee for both F45 and FS8, “We believe FS8 offers a unique opportunity with the fusion of reformer based Pilates and matwork, tone, exercise and yoga in one seamless experience. We’re excited to bring that to South African fitness-goers and to build a network of studios that deliver both performance and composure. Our goal is to make FS8 a household name in movement and wellness across this country.”

About FS8

The result: a holistic, low-impact, high-energy movement method designed to build strength, flexibility and calm in equal measure.

FS8 is a boutique movement fitness concept under the FIT / F45 Brands portfolio. It offers combined elements of Pilates (reformer and mat), tone (resistance) and yoga (flow sequences) to create a balanced, dynamic workout. FS8 is designed for both performance improvements and recovery, emphasizing consistency, mobility, strength and mindfulness.

FS8 is currently expanding globally with Master Franchise agreements in markets including the UK, Europe, South Korea and now South Africa.

A Natural Evolution for South Africa’s Boutique Fitness Scene

Following the successful expansion of F45 Training South Africa, FS8’s arrival represents the next evolution in functional movement and holistic fitness. With a rising national focus on well-being, recovery and long-term strength, FS8 offers a modern solution that meets members where they are, combining precision, mindfulness and community in one space.

Karen added “FS8 is where movement meets mindfulness. It’s for people who want strength without strain, balance without burnout and connection without competition. We’re creating studios that welcome everyone from seasoned athletes to complete beginners and we believe this concept will redefine the boutique fitness experience in South Africa.”
