Fiverr and Griiip Join Forces to Fast-Track Entrepreneurship:
Here at Fiverr, we’re all about driving faster business results through lean entrepreneurship. So we’re thrilled to announce our global sponsorship of Griiip, a racing innovation company combining democratized performance auto racing and a real-time motorsport engagement platform. The partnership of our global Fiverr community of doers and Griiip’s mission to bring motorsport to the masses maintains our brands’ core values around using technology to lower the barriers to allow anyone to pursue their passions through innovation and access.
Founded in 2015, Griiip was born out of a desire to make motorsport racing more accessible for a wider audience of drivers and enthusiasts by combining performance driving with technological innovations. Building a top-of-the-line race car that meets and exceeds performance expectations was only the first part of Griiip’s mission. By creating an easily accessible and informative platform to engage in real-time racing, the Griiip experience goes from the race track into the living room in a way it never has before.
“It’s rare to have the opportunity to work with a team that holds so many of the same values,” said Tamir Plachinsky, CEO of Griiip. “Fiverr’s global community showcases the same qualities we look for in fans and partners alike, and the chance to work with a diverse and talented group mirrors the attitudes and ethics of everyone involved in Griiip.”
“Fiverr’s mission is all about enabling anyone, anywhere to become a doer,” adds Micha Kaufman, our CEO. “That’s a powerful statement because it extends so far into the lives of so many. We saw so much of that passion from the Griiip team both in terms of how they’ve bootstrapped and hustled to build their business, as well as in how they developed the core mission and objectives for the racing platform. We both firmly believe that a key role of technology is creating inclusive spaces where they previously weren’t, and that view is at the core of the work we’ll be doing together.”
As part of our sponsorship, Griiip’s G1 Racing Series will become “G1 Series – Powered By Fiverr” and include Fiverr branding throughout the Griiip data platform and on-track experience. In addition to joining the two brands directly, Fiverr and Griiip will develop community engagement opportunities to expand and grow the performance racing and doer communities across the globe. So buckle up, doers—we’re only getting started!
