This year’s celebration of the Festival of Trees is being hosted by the Festival Place Cultural Arts Foundation with all proceeds used to continue to promote and support arts programming for children and youth in Strathcona County. Following on the tradition of a community based event, the Festival of Trees will take place at Festival Place on November 23-24, 2018.
Friday evening begins with a ticketed gala event that will provide an opportunity for recognition of the sponsors, tree donors and an opportunity for guests to place bids on a one-of-kind tree of their choice. Entertainment, hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be provided.
On Saturday November 24, the event will be open to the general public to view the trees, enjoy local musical entertainment and celebrate with a children’s art and craft area. Entrance to the Festival is by donation.
