E^ST (single tour) – a Africa interest event taking place on 2018-05-18 20:30:00 in Australia
Guests: TBA THIS SHOW IS STRICTLY 18+ Niche Talent Agency + Warner Music Australia present “This song was written about two people getting themselves into the same situation for very different reasons and hoping for different outcomes. It’s about how we use each other in our own ways, and how that can leave us feeling isolated and alone even while we’re with someone. It’s about having unrealistic expectations and having reality shake you because of it. It’s about going after what we want in all the wrong ways. It’s about being lonely.” – E^ST on new single 'Blowjob' E^ST – Australian teen songwriter (a.k.a Mel Bester) has always moved to the beat of her own drum. Maybe it’s because music has been the one constant in her life (she relocated to Australia from South Africa when she was a kid, moving house with her family close to 30 times). Or perhaps it’s something more innate that sets her apart from her peers: a natural curiosity teamed with a gift for expressing the conflicted emotions of youth in her own distinctive voice.
