Ekasi Tech Fest Launches R10 000 Esports Tournament:
EKASI TECH FEST LAUNCHES R 10 000 ESPORTS TOURNAMENT
28 – 29 June 2019, Soweto Theatre, Soweto
The biggest township tech & gaming expo announced today the first prize esports tournament in Soweto. The event, which kicks off on 28 June at Soweto Theatre, will feature a R10,000 prize pool.
The inaugural tournament will feature popular esports titles on the agenda such as FIFA, Tekken, CS: GO, amongst others, as well as giveaways, arcade corner and exhibitions.
“We are thrilled to launch our official Esports tournament with great partners such as EKasi Esports and AOC South Africa,” said Mpho Tladi, i-Village (COO) and member of the EKasi Tech Fest Organizing committee “The Esports community is incredibly unique. With this tournament, we hope to create an experience unlike any other.”
