Media Invite: The government entity tasked with promoting productivity and job creation in South Africa, Productivity SA, in partnership with the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic), will host a workshop aimed at improving the productivity of businesses in the Free State. The Honorable MEC, of the Free State Department: Economic, Small Business Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Mr Makalo Mohale, will deliver the keynote address at the workshop which will be held this Wednesday, the 22nd of February 2022 at Splendid Inn, Bloemfontein.
The workshop will also recognise companies that have demonstrated resilience in a difficult economic environment to sustain their businesses through the implementation of Productivity SA‘s Workplace Challenge Programme. The Workplace Challenge programme, which is funded by the dtic, is one of Productivity SA’s Business Transformation and Competitiveness Improvement flagship programmes, which aims to improve the Productivity and Competitiveness of Enterprises through improved value chain efficiencies, implementation of clusters for industrial competitiveness, collaborative relations, continuous improvement and establishment of model companies to disseminate processes and lessons. Members of the media and interested stakeholders from business, government and labour are invited to the open workshop as follows:
