Emmanuel Matome Malemela (Born 23 August 2003), professionally known by his stage name DJ Lector, is a South African DJ, musician, record producer and audio engineer from Polokwane, South Africa.
He started making beats and deejaying when he was 12 years old and he became professional at the age of 15. He has a vision and mission in the music industry, he said when growing up his family always had love in music. His father was a DJ and a record producer, his other 3 uncles were owning a music studio in Johannesburg, they were also DJs and Recording Artists.
This influenced DJ Lector because he grew up around music and he felt in love with music at a younger age. The 18 year old wants to change the House and Afrobeat music scene with his new sound. He released his first single titled Rusty Clouds and later on released an EP titled Dreamy.
His dream is to work with some of the biggest Artists in Africa and including International Artists.
