South Africa, 2022 —, the Lyst Index quarterly rank list was released of which Diesel acknowledged that the brand equity and image is going in the right direction.
For those who are unfamiliar, the Lyst Index is a quarterly ranking of fashion’s hottest brands and products. Whenever it comes out, media outlets talk about it and put several of the hottest brands in comparison.
Lyst is a fashion technology company and premium shopping app, used by more than 160 million people each year to browse, discover and buy items from 17,000 brands and stores. The formula behind The Lyst Index considers Lyst shopper behaviour, including searches on and off platform, product views and sales. To track brand and product heat, the formula also incorporates social media mentions, activity and engagement statistics worldwide, over a three-month period.
I’m happy to say that in Q1 2022, Diesel made it to the rank for the first time, beating well established names.
