Cultural Intelligence (CQ)Masterclass (CQ + Diversity= Real Inclusion)

Cultural Intelligence (CQ)Masterclass (CQ + Diversity= Real Inclusion) – a Culture interest event taking place on 2019-03-04 09:30:00 in United Kingdom

Just increasing the numbers/percentages doesn’t work! Research has shown that just increasing the diversity in a team or organisation does not in itself lead to inclusion or address discrimination. Without Cultural Intelligence CQ, diverse teams will underperform against homogenous teams on almost every measure. Excessive and unfair performance management, allegations of bullying and harassment, exclusion and discord become real challenges for teams and organisations, impacting on morale, performance, and productivity. This CQ Masterclass will equip you with powerful tools to translate your numbers and statistics into real inclusion that produces innovation, a highly motivated diverse workforce and increases retention and progression for all.   Individuals and leaders with enhanced CQ:  Understand their own Cultural Values and how those values drive and affect their interaction with diverse individuals/teams and contexts. Use their enhanced CQ to work/lead effectively when working cross-culturally including creating inclusive cultures in the workplace. Positively leverage the diversity around them for enhanced communication, productivity, creativity and innovation in the workplace.  Are more confident in working with people and groups from diverse backgrounds in a wide range of settings they facilitate inclusion and understanding. Understand how ‘culture’ impacts on the way individuals, teams and organizations act and react to situations and are equipped to respond positively. Are equipped to make decisions and develop strategies that have inclusion at their core.    Cultural Intelligence differs from other Diversity  and Culture focused training because: It is based on rigorous academic research. It is developmental (You can improve your CQ making you more effective at working with diverse groups, teams, individuals) It is predictive It equips you with powerful tools to do the "how" when it comes to changing the culture within your team or organization.  Reviews of Above Difference CQ Masterclasses “It was a thought-provoking and educative day for me, I can see things from a whole new perspective. There are many in NHS, Education, Social Care etc that need this training”  Dr. Joan Myers OBE “Cultural Intelligence is a must for all senior leaders in the NHS”Edith Akenkide E   “Every Board and sub Board member should be doing CQ Assessments alongside their 360s and building it into their appraisals and personal development plans.
