The tears of hope | Las lágrimas de la esperanza | URUGUAY | IMG_0571
I took this photo just a few seconds after Ghana made its goal (1 – 0 lead to Uruguay)
look closely at her
during that moment
she was crying
it looks like the flag is a shadow cast on her face
the tears look unreal
and they cannot be more real
or the pain looks real and tears do not
but the tears are not on the sun
I interpret it as the sun side is the side of hope
after the game I’m sure she was the happiest person in the stadium
her dad scored the final goal
it can’t get better than that!
