A view on Green Point from Signal Hill. The big Cape Town stadium was build for the FIFA World Cup 2010. The smaller stadium in front of that is the Green Point stadium. I finished a running race in that stadium back in 2003. On the right is the V&A Waterfront where all the tourist go. Robben Island top left.
The top of Signal Hill was filthy in 2003, it was never crowded back then and it didn’t feel safe. Now it’s a big tourist attraction and they cleaned the place up.
The boulevard along the coast is breathtaking! I ran there every day. Atlantic Ocean on one side, mountains on the other side. Strong winds and fresh air. From Mouille Point to Camps Bay and back.
