I have been thoroughly enjoying each and every minute of the 2010 FIFA World Cup here in South Africa. Since the start on 11 June I think today is only the fourth day in which we haven’t had any matches. So what better to do than post some new photos?
I have a thing for these hard hat helmets that are an essential part of your typical South African football fan’s gear. You just need one of these Makarapa’s (decorated for your team) and together with a vuvuzela you’ll be ready for any big match. Here are some of the awesome fans, some with Makarapa’s, that I managed to take at some of the games I was lucky enough to get to.
