A nice South African City image:

1976 Road Test of Chevrolet Hatch
South African City

The Chevrolet Hatch 1900 is a peculiar vehicle, specific to South Africa. A truncated Vauxhall Viva with a Chevette/Kadett City bootlid and taillights, and either a Vauxhall or a Chevrolet engine, this mongrel is the result of local content laws. Only built from late 1976 until mid-1978, when it was mostly replaced by the Chevrolet Ascona. Would love to have one of these little bitzas.

From the December 1976 issue of South African Motor.
