Clico… where Boutique meets Beautiful

Clico Photo: Supplied by client

Sometimes you need a change of pace, a change of scenery or just time out from life in general. Clico Boutique Hotel, Restaurant & Conferencing on Sturdee Avenue in the leafy suburb of Rosebank is that place.

Finding a place to escape to, whether it’s for a few hours or a few days, is the essence of this beautifully appointed boutique establishment. Clico is a place where stories unfold… a romantic engagement is often followed by an intimate wedding and possibly a baby shower too. Clico is a place where the personal touch is the norm, small enough to be cosy (did we mention the four fireplaces?) but spacious enough to offer privacy. Our guests feel pampered and comfortable all at once; and that sense of familiarity in a luxury setting is sometimes lacking in larger restaurants and hotels.

The tranquil garden setting in a conference room enclosed with stack doors allowing natural light to dapple the space, is a draw card for our conference delegates – what better setting to think creatively and strategise could you wish for? Our location is central enough for convenient access via Gautrain or car; while our Executive Chef, Yoshan Naidu’s menus will ensure delegates are catered for and any dietary requirements are accommodated. Think chicken liver parfait with a cherry glaze, beetroot cured salmon or mushroom ravioli and a flourless chocolate torte… sometimes he pulls off a Thanksgiving dinner for our American guests to make them feel at home!

The versatility of Clico’s offering means you can book out the entire hotel for a conference or event or simply reserve a table for a romantic dinner. Fancy a cocktail night with friends? Clico’s in-house Mixologist, Sandile Mavuso will shake or stir whatever tickles your tastebuds.

Upcoming Events to Diarise

Our Tapas and Tequila promotion will run from 18 to 26 February – Chef Yoshan and Mixologist Sandile will enthral guests with pairings that will be remembered for a long time to come.

Clico’s legendary Last Sunday of the Month Music lunches are the perfect way to end off the month and ease into the week ahead – keep an eye on our social media platforms (Facebook @ClicoSA or Instagram @clico_sa) for details on these!
