Brand new app to make some extra money!:
Piece Jobs
Get a piece job and put bread on your table]
In the economically challenging times we are living in, anyone will tell you that living and depending on your monthly salary to keep the wolf from the door is increasingly difficult. In recent times, countless South Africans have realised that making an honest living in South Africa today, is easier said than done, not to mention those who have lost their jobs, became medically disabled or who can’t even remember when last they were permanently or temporarily employed.
Co-founder of Piece Jobs App (Pty) Ltd – Piet Oosthuizen – experienced exactly this despite the “comfort” of a respectable job and realised that millions of South African families go hungry every day. Desperate times call for desperate measures the saying goes and Piet came up with an innovative smartphone app that can help literally thousands of people to have bread on the table and to take care of their families.
The nitty-gritty of the innovative new app called for the expertise of Oosthuizen’s partner – Bertus Marais – who toiled away laboriously for months on end, mostly at night, burning literally barrels of midnight oil to not only design the app, but to ensure it’s as user friendly as humanly possible, hence the simplicity of the “programme”.
Piece Jobs is a smartphone app which in simple terms – connects people with jobs and vice versa. The smartphone app works both ways – no need for you to phone around to find someone to do a specific job for you or to search in the columns of the classifieds to find a job you are qualified/skilled for. At the click of a few buttons on your smartphone you can immediately review the options available or alternatively, locate “someone” to take care of your project – no matter how big or small.
What is encouraging is that you or your company doesn’t have to employ a skilled worker on a permanent basis if you’re in need of a particular skill, you simply remunerate your “contractor” for the time or project as set out in your “advertisement”.
Piece Jobs App (Pty) Ltd not only has the potential to improve the lives of thousands, possibly millions of South Africans every day, but as an additional incentive offers to invest a third of its profits back into job creation among South African communities. “This is a bold statement, because in the current economic climate, we simply need to be bold to make a difference”, says Oosthuizen.
Piece Jobs can be downloaded from Google Play Store or straight from the server. Don’t hesitate any longer – work, eat and enjoy living in South Africa!
