The jacket has a nice design that will probably compliment anyone. The jacket does seems thinner than it does in the picture which I didn’t really expect. I ordered a 2XL, but the style for some reason was not comfortable. It still felt tight around the chest and shoulders and the sleeves were kinda short. I would recommend ordering a size up from your usual, but that seems a bit strange for ‘Big & Tall’ clothing.

With the jacket being made of thin material I wouldn’t recommend doing anything heavy duty in it. The jacket is just alright. I can’t say I would recommend it to someone else.

It’s cheap and actually not that bad…I’d say if someone just wanted an alternative to a sweat shirt, this is a good buy.
After all, it has lots of pockets and is fairly warm and looks better than a sweatshirt. But as far as overall quality is concerned, it’s just okay. The body material has no real stiffness, but some shean…feels extremely thin. The sleeves have a slick material in them, so that eases getting it on over microfibers, but the sleeve’s elastic material is entirely too tight…makes it difficult to get on. One thing I like about it is that it’s long…and on cold days I can use it as a work jacket and get the additional coverage of the length. If your’e looking for a really nice jacket …this isn’t it…BUT, it’s cheap, so it is a good work jacket.

Someone else wrote that they “ordered a 2XL” but it didnt feel comfortable. I’m 6″2 270 so i like big and bulky with plenty of room especially in a jacket so thought i’d go super extra large and order the 3XL just in case the sizing was on the small size. Not knowing these guys and since this jacket was so cheap i also ordered a much more expensive but similar jacket from a more mainstream brand. Both came in about the same time and both were 3XL’s. The mainstream brand 3XL brand was just what i expected… a lot of extra room with plenty of play and very comfortable. But this Boulder Creek 3XL actually fit more like what i’d expect from a snug 2XL.

Other than being on the small side it seems like a decent jacket, but it’ll probably just hang in the closet as something for a guest to wear. As far as the other more mainstream branded jacket, it was $160, fits well, has plenty of extra room, and is very comfortable… so for the most part, it seems that i pretty much got what i paid for in both cases.
