Beauty From Our Sorrows: Benefit Cabaret for Valley Youth House – a Beauty interest event taking place on 2017-09-08 19:30:00 in United States
Call it cabaret for a cause or philanthropic frivolity! Drag songstress Cookie Diorio uses her 6.5 inch platforms to celebrate diversity, promote social justice and create civically-engaged art in a new giving project called "Art of the Heel" where she hosts a world class series of music showcases
to benefit non-profit organizations making a difference in our communities.
The program will feature performances by legendary Germantown blues band Stevie and the Bluescasters, and the wig whipping, high-heel stomping vocals and personal anecdotes we’ve come to expect from Cookie’s cabaret (of course).
Proceeds will be donated to Valley Youth House Pride Program.
