The Baroque era saw the first flourish of music for women and by women. Sweetest in the Gale, Oratorio Chorale's women's ensemble, celebrates this luscious repertoire with music by the famous 17th-century composers Antonio Vivaldi, Giovanni Pergolesi, and Tomas Luis Victoria as well as Baroque female composers Barbara Strozzi, Francesca Caccini, Isabella Leonarda, and Elisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre. Soloist Mary Sullivan will be joining Sweetest in the Gale.
