Auditor to sue Bentley, Strange over Senate appointment:
The state auditor says he will sue Gov. Robert Bentley for waiting until 2018 to hold the election for Jeff Sessions' former U.S. Senate seat. He says Bentley's appointment of former state Attorney General Luther Strange to the U.S. Senate broke Alabama laws that require a special election for the seat.
Barnstable man charged with fatally stabbing wife:
Christopher S. Fratantonio of Cotuit is escorted into Barnstable District Court where he was arraigned Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, in Barnstable, Mass. He was charged with murder in the killing of his wife Mary J. Fratantonio on Tuesday while their young children were in the home.
