Join us at the Arab American Cultural and Community Center
for a Series of Calligraphy Workshops
Enroll in our workshop to learn the beautiful art of Arabic Calligraphy. There is no requirement of knowing the Arabic language. This workshop is suitable for all ages (from 7 to 90+!),

Beginners Level Workshop: Roq'aa Arabic Script
Saturday October 8th – December 10th (9 sessions)
Time: From 1:15 to 2:15 p.m.
Students are expected to have completed the Introduction to calligraphy workshop. Students will learn the Roq'aa script. Roq’aa is often the first font introduced to beginners as it is relatively easier than other sophisticated Arabic calligraphy scripts.
Classes consist of 8 weeks plus a final week of working on a project (Total of 9 weeks). There will be no class on Saturday November 26th due to Thanksgiving Holidays.
The class will culminate with a project under the teacher supervision.

Intermediate Level Workshop: Thuluth Script
Saturday October 8th – December 10th
Time: From 2:15 to 3:15 p.m.
Classes consist of 8 weeks plus a final week of working on a project (Total of 9 weeks). Students will learn the Thuluth script. The class will culminate in a masterpiece project under the teacher supervision.
There will be no class on Saturday November 26th due to Thanksgiving Holidays.
