The Dubai Alumni Career Workshop Series will give you the skills and confidence in every stage of your job search – from researching and targeting the best companies to approach, shaping your CV to showcase your skills, through to dealing with the interview and job offer phase of the process. The topic for this session is: This workshop will focus on how to construct a compelling CV that emphasis your transferrable skills and responds to the needs of Hiring Managers. We will share insights on what recruiters look for when they review CVs (and why?).You will also learn some “tricks of the trade” on how to identify what transferrable skills are important to employers and finally how you can highlight transferrable skills on your CV. Facilitator:The session will be facilitated by Annette Minihan, Career Lead for LBS Sloan & Alumni at the LBS Career Centre. Prior to her current role, Annette spent 20 years working with Financial Services organisations where she was responsible for global executive talent acquisition (across Europe, Asia, Africa and South America). She has hired for Investment Banking, Private Equity, Wealth Management, Advertising, Media, Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Pharmaceutics, Retail and a variety of start-ups.
