Alive with Hope Tour – Ballarat – a Africa interest event taking place on 2017-05-18 19:00:00 in Australia
On this night, you will get to meet and hear from a brave man. Paul was born in Kibera, Kenya, one of the largest slums in Africa. The Kibera slum is home to over 800,000 people living on just one square mile of land. Life in the slum was unbearable. With no sanitation and no healthcare, children and infants were falling sick and dying. Hopelessness born out of poverty was driving young people into a life of crime and drugs. Paul’s father understood the importance of education and its role in helping to get people out ofpoverty. As he was not able to get a good education, he did everything he could to give his children theopportunities he never had… To hear more of Paul's story, we are inviting you to join us on Thursday 18th May, to meet Paul in person. Paul's story of hope and transformation will leave you encouraged and inspired. Invite your friends and family, you won't want to miss this! There is no cost for this event, but we do welcome donations.
