Afroteq Advisory Promotes Pieter Vlok To Acting Division Head Of Strategic Facilities Projects (SFP)

Pieter Vlok has been promoted to Acting Division Head of Strategic Facilities Projects (SFP) at Afroteq Advisory. Before this, he was the Senior Project Manager – a position he has filled since 2017.

Pieter is currently pursuing his MBA degree through the University of Stellenbosch Business School. He earned a B.Sc in Construction Management and an Honours Degree from the University of Pretoria.

Pieter believes his new position as Acting Division Head will broaden his responsibilities within Afroteq’s Strategic Facilities Projects (SFP) business segment.

“I am thrilled to direct and oversee the dynamic and passionate group of individuals with whom I will collaborate. I am excited about the prospect of training a new generation of leaders and having the opportunity to share some of the knowledge and experience I have gained over the years,” he says.

As the Acting Division Head of Strategic Facilities Projects, Pieter will concentrate on asset management projects as well as developing and executing capital projects on behalf of clients. He will also be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy plan for the Facilities Projects division that aligns with Afroteq Advisory’s overall goals and objectives, ensuring that all facilities projects adhere to applicable laws, regulations and industry requirements.

Pieter enjoys riding his motorcycle in his free time and is a devoted family man with a “beautiful wife and two amazing teenage daughters”. He believes in the adage: “Everyone who lives dies, but not everybody who dies has truly lived”. Therefore, he tries to make the most of every day and to make a positive contribution wherever he can.
