AFRICA: Sub-Saharan Diversity – a South Africa interest event taking place on 2016-01-28 00:00:00 in United States
This is the opening day of the exhibition: AFRICA: Sub-Saharan Diversity, which runs until August 12, 2016. Drawn exclusively from the Museum's Collections, this dynamic exhibition exemplifies the rich diversity of cultures across West and Central Africa. Themes of protection, prestige, and masquerade are illustrated through selected masks, weapons, sculptures, and jewelry from 25 ethnic cultures.
