2nd Northeast Sports and Research Conference (Presenters / Faculty) – a Sport interest event taking place on 2019-07-20 09:00:00 in United Kingdom
Introduction: The aim of the conference is to generate interest in research and Sports injuries in orthopaedic trainees along with Sports Physicians (GP), allied health care professionals (Physio) and emergency care practitioners by providing clinical and research training. The secondary aim is to provide a platform for the junior trainees along with the Allied health care professionals to present their work as poster presentations and learn from each other. Target Audience: Any one with interest in research, sports and injuries. Ortho trainees, CT, FY, GP / GP Trainees, Physio, A/E trainees, Advance care practitioners, Medical students Conference Highlights: The highlights of the conference will be sessions on 1- Clinical examination (Shoulder / Knee / Hip / Ankle) 2- Radiological assessment of common injuries 3- Diagnostic and therapeutic injections 4- Advances in treatment of common sports injuries 5- Role of Rehabilitation and Neuroplasticity for sports injuries 6- Technology and Sports Injuries 7- Pain Management for Sport injuries Abstract Submission: Abstract submission is now open for poster presentations and will close on 7 July 2019. The presented abstracts will be published online and there will be a prize for best poster.
