DEC 7-9 NEVER NORMAL PRESENTS WAV.ROOM A 3-Day pop-up installation of a hi-fi audio/visual listening cafe upstairs at OTL MIA presented by Never Normal Records inspired by Japanese “kissaten” meeting music culture in Miami during Miami Art Week. We invite you to "Hear, Different" with a series of listening sessions artist talks, & presentations that will be open to the public as together we explore how creative communities engage with sound & listening as an art form. WHO RUN IT is a workshop discussion on the current and future state of record culture with women who sell and play recordings professionally ft. Caroline Cardenas from Miami's Technique Records, selectors Loka, Coffin Texts, and Lolo Reskin, co-founder of Sweat Records. Uniting high fidelity listening with music technology over the 3-day pop-up, WAV.ROOM will feature audio/visual experiences with SUBPAC wearable audio, MOOG, Critter & Guitari synthesizers, AIAIAI audio and a vintage Klipsch soundsystem all inside of the cafe #WAVROOMMIA .
